the toddler room
infant room | toddler room | two-year-old room | preschool & pre-k | kindergarten
When a child turns one, he/she moves to the toddler room. In the toddler room, children are exposed to many different experiences to optimize their sensory/motor, physical, cognitive and social skills.
- Sensory/motor – exploring textures, colors, patterns, sizes, shapes, smells and tastes
- Physical – manipulating, gripping, throwing, pushing, pulling, walking
- Cognitive – understanding cause and effect, problem solving, collecting, stacking, dumping
- Social – conversing, reading, rhyming, singing, playing
It is our goal for your child to emerge from the toddler room as an individual, with more highly developed emotions and abilities.
